Cadine Navarro

Selected Works

Semblanza

Born in Kobe, resides in Paris.

Cadine Navarro’s multidisciplinary practice pollinates the fields of art, science, design, and spirituality to create spaces for encounter and direct experience. The materiality of her work often finds its origin in Japanese aesthetics and worldview: the country where she was born and raised with her French father and American mother.

She is interested in narratives derived from territorial cultural identity, which contain lessons embodied in ancestral knowledge and plants. The bridge of her practice based on research explores models to catalyze a change in consciousness and includes educational programs and community outreach aimed at serving as an act of reciprocity and response to the harm we cause to the earth.
